Kelly Lush is the Company Director and Mortgage Consultant at Open Vision Finance, a fast-growing and reputable mortgage advisory firm specializing in mortgages, protection, and insurances. Covering the Bristol, Portishead, and Taunton areas, Kelly ensures that the team’s product knowledge and expertise are market-leading, helping to establish OVF as sector specialists.

With over a decade of experience in the mortgage and financial industry, Kelly has cultivated a comprehensive understanding of the mortgage market and available financial solutions. Before founding Open Vision Finance in 2012, she honed her expertise in the financial services sector, gaining valuable hands-on experience in client management and paraplanning. Kelly is fully qualified with the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP), a widely recognised industry qualification.

At Open Vision Finance, Kelly has successfully built and maintained a diverse client bank that includes first-time buyers, home movers, and buy-to-let investors. Her dedication to providing personalised mortgage advice ensures that each client receives tailored solutions to meet their unique financial needs.

Kelly is particularly proud of her position at OVF, having founded the company at just 21 years of age. Now overseeing the business’s operations and direction, she remains committed to excellence in service delivery.

In 2018, Kelly was a finalist and runner-up in the Mortgage Adviser of the Year Award with Financial Reporter, and in 2015, she was recognised as one of three finalists in the Somerset Business Awards for Young Business Employee of the Year.

Passionate about financial education, Kelly actively engages with schools and colleges, hosting workshops to teach children, students, and young adults about money management—an area she believes is inadequately covered in the educational curriculum. She has recently become a Business Adviser with Young Enterprise, helping students set up and run successful businesses.

Outside of work, Kelly is passionate about exercise and is set to complete three Hyrox competitions in 2024! She also enjoys going on walks with her sidekick, Chester Lush.
